What difference does it make?
If you would vote - or not vote - for him because of his religion or sexual persuasion, your bias, prejudice, hatred and bigotry outweighs your ability to select the best candidate for the job. You're pathetic. -RKO- 06/20/07

You guys are a little high strung. Calm Down.
The person simply inquired on Michael Bloomberg’s sexual orientation. They never said they hated gays or wouldn't vote for him if he were gay.
It's a simple question. Yes or No..
I think people get too defensive sometimes and come off as aggressive because they think everyone out there is a gay basher or a bigot out to get them.
I for one, do not know the answer to this question, but have wondered it myself.
People shouldn’t always assume the worst about someone else just because they have had bad experiences with others in the past.
Would you accuse me of being a racist if I asked the question “What ethnical background does Barack Obama come from?”
Sometimes you can just be curious about someone’s lifestyle and life without having a alterative malicious motive.

It would seem to me that only someone infatuated with "Gay" would care who is or is not. Perhaps a better question would be: Is Mike Bloomberg a good Mayor? and further: are you a good citizen or just some Phobic person not quite sure what size jockey shorts you should wear. Get your head back on top your shoulders and think with it instead of using it as a cushion to sit on.

Agree with the post above; however, getting a annoyed by people making up words like "ethnical" or using the wrong word like "orientated". What is X's ethnic background is correct while what is X's ethincal background requires submitting bribes to Webster's. Same is true for "orientated", I did not "orientate" myself I oriented myself.
Alas, I now see all the habbaballo the Right-Wing-Nuts complain about when discussing the failed American education system. Of course, they use the same erroneous terms when they discuss such matters, i.e., they be stupid too.

Could be, but he's been married and has been linked to numerous women in the last 15 years including Diana Ross. Not sure why this would be an issue in this day and age though.

He marched in the gay pride parade today. I don't know if that means he's gay, but I'd like to think it means he supports gay rights and issues.

although I don't wish to express my feelings as strongly as the guy above me-----he IS right in most of what he says----who CARES if someone is gay, straight, catholic, protestant, Athiest or Muslim or whatever...... what makes a person a good person or a mayor or president a good leader is NOT his religion or his sexual orientation or even his OR HER GENDER-----.
