I think he would be great to pull votes away from Hillary and enable Rudy to become president, like Ross Perot did for Bill Clinton. Bloomberg is a big spender who loves taxing people a great deal. He is a Socialist like Hillary and raised already high property taxes in NYC and the Democrats like that, so he would draw a lot of Democrats votes away from Hillary.

I heard about Mayor Bloomberg thinking about running as an independent. I think that can only hurt Democrats. The man isnt conservative so it wouldnt hurt the Republican base that much. And with the weak candidates on the Democrat side, i could easily see them going third party.

I also think he is pretty much fooling himself if he thinks he has a serious chance.

I don't think Mr. Bloomberg is trying for anything more than the opportunity to hand over any votes that may come his way to the candidate of his choice.

Based on all the good things he's done a mayor of the Big Apple, I'd vote for him before I'd ever vote for Rudy or Hillary. -RKO- 06/20/07

I love it peacfullwaterwolf.
He'll cut into Mrs. Clinton's voters in NY...and perhaps split the dems completely.
