I believe in psychic vampires, ghosts, witches [the wiccan religion is recognized]. Werewolves? I don't know. The Indians believe in shape shifters... but whether the shape actually shifts or the mentality of the individual does, I couldn't say.

Well, yes... I understand that there are psychic/energy vampires, and from what I know already, that's entirely likely (but the thought of them makes me angry, I hate any sort of vampire). Ghosts? I have met ghosts. Werewolves... I'll just say yes. Witches? I don't really know what you mean by that. What is a witch by your definition? I know people who practice "magic" though so yes (maybe, again depends on your definition of witch).

So all of them in one way or another. I've never seen an energy vampire though, and I hope I never have to deal with one (like I said, I hate them), but if I do, I'll be ready for it.

Vampire - Well I believe in mosquito's, blood sucking bats, and people who feel so tiny and insignificant in this great big world they feel that they have to convince even themselves that they're different some how so, they come to believe they're vampires and feel more energized when drinking blood.

ghosts - I'm not sure actually, I do believe in spirits and life after death so I can imagine one so unhappy about his/her untimely death that they might become to attached to the previous life and not want to move on to the here after, so yeah I guess. I am skeptical about most sightings and the of the Ouija board though.

werewolves - No, not at all, I do believe the full moon makes people little nutty, probably because the moon's gravity tugs on the 80% of our bodies that is composed of water.

witches - Yes, neo-pagans and other people who practice ritualized spells in their religion often call themselves witches. I don't believe in old green crones that fly around on broom sticks though, nor blond bomb-shells that wiggle their noses and make horses appear out of thin air.

I do believe in witches, man can do really crazy stuff using mind altered stages or buy knowing herbs and some chemistry. Today we can see what they do, here in Mexico shamans can do many things and tell others and there is still no science to explain what they do, daily.

About ghosts I do know perfectly normal people who have sensed them

Vampirism well is almoust a religion I think. They claim to be vampires and do blood rituals as i know.

Believing in magic, whatever name you have for it, is having place for the unknown to happen, for miracles and curses to take place, if you have a religion you believe in magic. Is having a place for the imposible and denying some things we cannot accept just like that, like life and death is creating a paradox for your existance and a purpouse to it:"Goodies do this an so they get this, baddies do that and get that and all these is because God made things that way" so you get a sense of indentity. We believe in magic and have religions becuause we need it.

P.S. you forgot E.T.s

no. they are superstitious remnants of a time when we knew a lot less about the universe.
They don't stand up to scrutiny and are symbolic tales of human issues. To take them literally is to miss the point.
Vampires represent the predatory nature of humans. They say that we will prey even on other humans.
Ghosts symbolize how the works and wishes of the dead can influence the living.
werewolves symbolize the hidden animal nature in us all.
Witches represent the hidden power in even the most defenseless of us humans-old women.
The human things these concepts represent are very real to us. Making a monster is a way to deal with them.
But they don't really exist.

Vampires rock! but there probably not real. It would be cool to be one but sickening to be immortal and have to plunge your fangs into someone's neck almost every night I wish elves were real like the kind the books eragon and eldest. then i would so totally be an elf
