whoever gave the last 3 replyer a low rate is so literal. is that you, asker? du have to pick a famous painting from 1000 years ago by some so-called legendary artist? the question just asks for favorite painting. i tell you what my favorite painting is. its the painting that i sold for $30. and i feel proud. and by the way, what does it have to do with music catagory, huh?

When my daughter was 11 (she is now 13) she painted a picture named "The color of the Ocelot". It was a school project and the best artists pictures where displayed at at a local Museum. Out of 250 paintings from different students from schools in the area, 5 where chosen as best, my daughters was one of them. She was awarded her painting in a custom frame provided by the Museum. It is an awesome picture and hangs above my fireplace. It is always a conversation piece and people cant believe my daughter painted it as it looks to be done by a professional. I will keep it forever and ever and always keep it hanging in a place where its noticed.

"Last Stand at Gundumuck" by Wollen....hung in the National Gallery in 1887....I also like The Indian Mutiny and the Relief of Lucknow",by Thomas J Barker,as a sort of 2nd place but equally liked finisher.....this one was badly damaged in WW2 when the galley in Glascow was bombed by the Germans, but some nice prints can be had still.....
