Based on the nature of the parole violation that she's guilty of, most people would have only received 2 or 3 days in jail. They gave her 45, and they kept bouncing her in and out of jail, which must have been very dificult for her. Was her sentence and her treatment unduly harsh?

No, no, no, she was not treated unduly harshly and I am so tired making excuses for this 26 year old female.
She had been driving erratically and was pulled over and was at the limit for DUI, arrested and charged. She was CONVICTED on that DUI charge, given Probation- requirements of probation compliance
1) attend court mandated classes within a 90 day period
Did she comply - No, She thumbed her nose at the judge's order- violation 1
2) Don't get in any trouble with the law for 3 years. Did she comply- No, she violated probation 2 times. The first stop she could claim ignorance about the suspended license but the 2nd stop with the suspended license no excuse at all.
total violations- 3
The media and her sympathizers have made it seem as if she is being treated unfairly because of A violation and she isn't even doing the time she should for 3 violations. If it were ordinary people, we would have lost our license for at least 1 year as well as 90 days in jail

Maria S, are you serious??? This question is a joke, right?

1) She got a DUI
2) She was put on probation
3) Her license was suspended (that tends to happen when you get a DUI)
4) She was caught driving on a suspended license
5) She was drinking and driving AGAIN on top of that

2-3 days? I don't think so. She got off light with 45 days.
And sweetheart, she was on probation, not parole. Learn the terminology. And think twice before saying something dumb like someone who constantly breaks the law is being punished too harshly. Her punishment fit the crime perfectly.

It was either she face a harsh reality now than later when she eventually hurt or killed someone with her stupidity.

Sniff, sniff, sniff, you are going to make me cry. She was caught driving drunk!!!! What if she would have hit someone and killed them? She was given not one but two chance to get it right. Let's face it she has an advantage over most of us, she can afford a full time limo driver, but she didn't make use of something like that, instead she flaunted it in the face of the judge that had already shown her some leeway. I don't think it was too harsh, I think 2-3 days for others is too lenient.

Not true -

I've seen people in similar circumstances get the slightly less or more time than she did for probation violation (I don't believe it was parole violation - BIG BIG difference)... Nothing about 2-3 days in jail - that's ridiculously low.

So what if it was difficult for her........she violated the law and she violated the terms of her probation. If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.

She's a criminal. Get it??? Maybe a famous one because of the Hollywood connections - but still a criminal.

Hollywood - welcome to reality.

I actually don't feel sorry for Paris. Thank God she got a taste of reality life. And money doesn't always buy everything you want. (freedom). She's a grown woman and bad choices comes consequences. Think of it this way. It's better serving two to three weeks in jail. Than serving 20yrs for killing someone innocent from drunk driving. I hope she learns this lesson, and act more mature and responsible.

driving under suspension second offense? she got exactly the same sentence I got when I got caught doing the same thing 20 years ago. When I got caught driving with a suspended license the second time i wasn't out partying like she was. i was on my way to work. I had to do the whole SIXTY days. I lost my job. I lost my apartment and everything in it.
I have no sympathy for her.

No way. this was the 2nd time that she got caught driving with no licence. She has been pulled over for DUI also. She should have got more time!
