IEEE1394 It is like another way to transfer data really fast between peripherals and computers. Cameras usually use it. Some computers come with this port, like USB

All answers here are correct IEEE 1394 is firewire. Sony calls it iLink but it's still IEEE 1394. Apple owns the patent to the original 1394. Here's a long boring history of firewire vs. USB:
