Many people seem to get them for no good reason but they never get looked into???

I don't know hon !
All I do is ask Trivia questions 99.9% of the time,
and I have a whole mess or violations ! I've sent
them requests and all they say is that they're looking
into it ! (lol)

So there you have it Cartmen ... after you gave your stick to Officer Barbrady, notices went unread. It is your job to read these and if you want the "authoritah" back ... well you have to take it.

Well done, I've had two for the same thing. Protested after the first one but it didn't do me any good so I didn't bother when I got the second.

Because if they overturned violations they'd have to investigate them and I guess that would take up too much time and jam things up a yahoo central so they just take people's word for it.

If the person who has been reported contest the violation points can be returned. I have received several violations and have points returned on two of them.

All you have to do is reply to the notice. I've done it many times and have had points returned:)....Just give them a VALID reason.

On my "other" account, I actually had a violation overturned. I was so in shock, that I wet myself....

I got a violation notice once, and then I like, complained, and like you know, and they gave me my points back!!!!

I know, it really pisses me off. There's really not much you can do, you can in turn file a complaint but it usually doesn't work.
