I stopped taking the pill the same day I had sex. After a day or two I experienced some light bleeding. Could it still be possible to be pregnaunt or should I not be getting my hopes up.

A) it is generally recommended that you wait a while after taking the pill before trying to get pregnant as the residual hormones may harm your child.
B) it is normal to have a bleed after coming off the pill.
C) talk to your doctor and stop messing around with your future child's life when clearly you are not adequately informed

if you bleed then most likely you are not pregnant becuase the bleeding indicates that the egg did not implant because it was not fertilized. I also stopped taking the pill and a few days later i had light bleeding. i thought it was implantaion bleeding but it turned out to be nothing. Discontinuing the pill makes your cycle weird and even causes you to spot.

Any time you have sex, pregnancy is possible.

The pill prevents ovulation and thins the lining of your uterus. If you stopped taking it, your ovulation is no longer suppressed, eggs can defintiely get through. Also, bleeding could be an indicator of a change in the lining of your uterus, a reflection of the change in hormones, or... best of all... from implantation of a baby!!

It's defintely possible... prayers for your possible pregnancy!!!!

Honestly, I would think it to be caused from the transition of coming off the pill. Your body goes through a detoxing period. But if you are actively trying to conceive, of course it is a possibility! Go get a test! Best wishes on getting that baby :)

It's possible, but don't get your hopes up too high. It's hard to tell what is going on with your body after getting off the pill.

It takes time for your system to stabilize after you stop the Pill, it might take several months. Be patient, you will eventually get pregnant. Good luck.
