How does 31 years grab you ? Of course, for 23 years I was in denial that I had Mental Heath issues...Now I'm trying to change those destructive habits and feeling in My life . Its hard at 450 pounds in Public housing and collecting only a $623 check for disability. Ill do better when I hook up with a Good online Job and tell Social Security what they can do with their losey $623 a month !!! !!!!

The longest for me was just last year for about 6 months after one of my sons was diagnosed Autistic. I'm not sure if I am truly over it, but I am definitely handling it much better now especially since I finally accepted that I was not to blame and their was nothing I could do to change his diagnosis.

From the time I was 6 until I was 25. How did I get over it? Got rid of all the assholes in my life and lived how *I* wanted to live for a change. Oh, and years of therapy helped, too.

About a year and a half when I wasn't sure if my marriage was going to make it or not. I got over it when me and my husband, through a tremendous amount of communication, got our problems worked out.

I'll let you know when it's over. Although I don't drag my depression into everything so you wouldn't know I was depressed unless you probed my mind. Keep a good face on things, that's the strong woman's way.
