I've tried to look up on this online and in the book I'm reading about rabbits but I can't find anything.... I recently switched from feeding my bunny pellets and alfalfa hay to fresh broccoli, parsley and a baby carrot or two. Now his stool is really small and very dark (almost black) and smelly.... is he ok? is that bad? what is it? is it just the diet?....and he is about 4 months old. I need help please.

Why give up the pellets and hay? Baby bunnnies especially need the nutrients and calcium in alfalfa for growing. I would put the pellets back (plain alfalfa pellets) and the alfalfa hay along with other grass hays. For now I would limit the greens and stop the carrots (they are too sweet).
Small hard droppings usually indicate that your bunny isn't eating enough and that could be very serious and means it's time for a vet visit. If your bunny IS eating, then it's probably the diet change.

OMG! You are going to KILL your bunny! I am DEAD serious! NO NO NO! Go BACK to feeding him pellets and hay. That's what it's for! Broccoli is deadly, it can make them very sick. And feedign nothing but greens like this is also bad because carrots, for example, are mostly water and sugar and it will give him the runs and he will dehydrate and die. I am not kidding you. Dead serious! Feed your rabbit pellets and Timmothy hay, (alphalpha's got too high of a protien content for a regular rabbit, but it's still ok to feed. It's usually given to pregnant/nursing moms and larger breeds and also wooly breeds). NEVER give broccoli and if you give a baby carrot or 2 that's fine, but NOT on a daily basis.
It's not that I'm trying to scare you, .............. well..........yes I am! Change this bunny's diet immediately before it's too late....PLEASE!!!
*as far as what the other person said, domestic rabbits and wild rabbits are NOT even the same species! So don't go by whether or not you feel that's what they eat in the wild*

you should worry if it is runney at all ! to much of that food can cause it to get sick !!! you need to stick to rabbit pellets and never to much green foods like that !! even to much lettuce can harm it and make it sick!! to be safe feed only rabbit food from the pet store, it has everything in it that your pet needs !!!! and maybe a carrot evry once in a while only !!!! A rabbits stool is hard and dry, and not runny or mushy!! And shouldn't smell if you don't mash it!! urine is smelly though! so clean the cage once a week every week !! to keep it clean and help get rid of the urine smell !

broccoli and carrots are ok for your rabbit in small amounts. they contain high vitamin A which can be very bad for your rabbit in large quantities. heres a great page with a list of fruits and veggies you can give you bun.

Bunnies don't get rich food like that in the wild.

If bunny is enjoying his new cuisine, don't worry about it.
