Attack is considered assault (arrestable offense) sexual attack is sexual assault or rape, depending on what happened (arrestable offense). If you're trying to insinuate that you want him fired from his job also, have him arrested tonight or tomorrow so that he has to miss work while he's in jail for at least 24 hours... or have him arrested at work. Either way, just try to have it done while he's in public or at work... that will likely give him a hurt in the job situation.

Can you find a local rape crisis centre (or something similar)?

Sexually attacked covers a lot of ground, but I feel these people are the best option whatever form the sexual assault took. They have helped many before you to build up a case against the man. They also provide you with the support you need, when you judge the time as being right to take these charges to the police. (Though the longer you leave it, the less evidence there will be of this appalling criminal act).

That final step is deeply traumatic, your personal strength will be tested, but having a range of supportive people around helps a lot.

Did you call the authorities? Did you give them any evidence you may have? This is absolutely essential. If you don't file charges, he'll do this to someone else or maybe lots of someone elses.

Now you need to take care of yourself. If you haven't seen the dr., do it now. He/she will refer you to a rape crisis center where you can receive emotional support and closure on the incident.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. I hope you're able to get past it and have a normal life again.

No, they can only get in trouble if they are cashiers. What does him being a broker have to do with anything? Why did you not report it immediately (as in when you could have physical evidence) and why are you online asking about it, wasting further time. REPORT HIM. Your hesitation is only enabling him. If he did it once, he'll probably do it again.

I know this has to be a hard thing for you to go through, you will be in my prayers. I would strongly suggest that you contact the police and file a report. This person will probably do this again to someone else. I would strongly suggest getting some counseling as well to help you deal with this.

If you need someone to talk to please feel free to email me.

This person will do this again. Go and report to the police and he will be caught and suffer! Do go and get some counselling from a female psychologist to help yourself get through this hard thing.

Of course he can. It doesn't matter if he's a broker, a baker, or candlestick maker — he's a sexual attacker, and he should be punished as soon as possible. Hopefully you have a way of proving it. All of us here on WS support you.

If you report it...the state you were in or his job description should have no bearing on the issue. I don't know of any state in the US where sexual "attack" is acceptable.

Have you pressed charges yet?

Yeah, don't wait around over it because the longer you wait, the more difficult it's going to be for you scrape up 'evidence,' and the longer gone any physical evidence is going to be. Talk to someone in a position of authority about this immediately.

Absolutely, and he should! File a police report. No one should get away with something like that.
