I need atleast 3 bands that sound like MCR and Two that sound like PATD. I mean vocally and it doesnt have to be the music sound but vocals. Any other singer that sounds exactly or pretty close to Gerard Way and one that sounds like Brendon Urie.

And I understand Fall out boy sounds like PATD but I'm looking for bands that arent that well known. I need at least 1 for both.

It would help if you explained why you needed them...if you're just looking for good music, I can recommend bands you might like if you like those bands, but if you need it for some project, I can't help, those bands each have a pretty distinctive sound, which you can't really find in another band. I'll give you my suggestions as best I can though-

I'm sorry that so many people who have posted are completely rude and unhelpful. Some people are quite sure that what they like is right, and what they don't like, or more likely, what is popular, is wrong, and feel the need to bash the people who enjoy music that they do not. These people with "good" music taste are far more pathetic than those who have "bad" music taste...they waste their time on bands they do not like; at least the people who have "poor music taste" enjoy the music they look up and discuss, and don't feel the need to complain about others' choice.
Sorry about the rant...but the answers I've seen here made me sick to my stomach. Musical egotism and snobbery is really the saddest thing I've ever seen. MCR is not my favorite band, though I do enjoy PATD, but I am able nonetheless to answer the question to the best of my ability; I would not answer it otherwise.

Sorry, but there's nothing exactly like them because they're both such unique bands... =]

Umm, I know The Used and My Chemical Romance were brother bands, before the two singers broke up.
Not well known? Are you trying to follow that trend of knowing not-so-well-known bands and being all "original" when they hit it big? Hmmm....

Try www.pandora.com It's like a radio station just type in one of the bands and it comes up with loads of songs and bands that have similar musical qualities to the band you typed in and a lot of the bands it gives you aren't very well known.

well for MCR i would recommened Aiden, The Used, or Pencey Prep.
for Panic! i would say The Academy Is...
you really cant go by voices because no 2 bands will sound as near as you want them to be.

Why want a band that sounds like MCR or PATD when you could just listen to MCR or PATD by themselves?
