Just to get everybody's opinion, who do you think is the the artist of the year, newcomer of the year, and album of the year? (all 3 for rap/hip-hop)
And Im saying this is from June 2006 to June 2007..

Lil Wayne had a good year in terms of mixtapes; which is why im giving my nod to The Game for Artist of the Year, as well as album of the year 'Doctor's Advocate'. alot of people say the documentary is only a classic because dr. dre produced it....well the game did this one on his own so theres not much to say...and since BET considers Lupe Fiasco to be a new artist, he's my choice for newcomer of the year.

The artist of the year should be Nas. He was the only one with the balls to come out and speak the truth about hip hop right now. I would also have to give Lupe the newcomer of the year, considering no other new artist was any good. The album of the year probably is Doctors Advocate--that album was some sick sh*t
