I've bought 7 neon tetras, 3 kissing gouramis, 4 angelfish, 3 bala sharks, and three parrot cichlids, and one baby oscar. I've put all these fish already in the tank for about 2 days already.

everything except the tetras will outgrow your tank -- kissing gouramis grow to be 12", angelfish about 8", bala sharks 14", parrots who knows?, and oscars about 18". a 10 gallon tank is about the same size as an adult oscar.

you need to be finding new homes for everyone asap or buy a bigger tank. i think about 180 gallons might work ok.

Ummm...You really should have done your research before buying these fish.
The neons will most likely NOT do well in a new aquaruim as they don't withstand the cycling process..same with the angels. I would expect for you to lose just about all of them. You need to either return, if possible, the fish or look at getting about three more aquariums. Your parrots and oscars will need at least a 55 gallon. Your balas, angels and kissing gouramis will also need about a 55 gallon. The gouramis can get about 6 inches, the balas about 12-14 inches and the angels can also get about 6 inches.
If you choose, and hopefully you won't, to keep the fish in that aquarium I guarantee that most if not all of them will die. The tank is too overcrowded and the fish you have are not compatible.

the first thing you NEED to do is give away your oscar or get a 100 gallon or bigger tank. the angelfish won't survive long, they need more room!! 3 bala sharks, wow not good. 3 parrot cichlids?!?! those will get too big for your tank, and the kissing gourami's, waaay too much already. Ten you got 7 neon tetras, way too much. only hae a few fish in there.

if your a newbie well i can't blame you for mistakes. its just that you have risked your pets' lives. well, everybody have posted it all. my only suggestion is that you buy a bigger tank for even a 100 g tank would not even fit 2-3 oscars. they need alot of space. parrot cichlids also grow into about 5-7" if im not mistaken. angel fishes do also grow but not as big as the others. bottom line, buy a tank greater than a 100 gs. plus, check all factors that might risk your fishes. if you have already acquired the tank, then you might want it to cycle for atleast 1 week. check the level of the water through a kit then if its okay then place the fishes. we don't like deaths here. place non aggressive fishes tetras in a different tank. read more about things before purchasing and doing an act.

hope you enjoy and be careful next time. be a good fish keeper....

Are you crazy! Those are BIG fish, there won't even be room for water as they grow up! I don't understand people who can afford all these fish, but won't buy at least a 20 gallon. If you want tiny tanks, you need small fish! Angelfish and sharks get big, especially the sharks!! And I didnt even see that you have an OSCAR! in there! What is wrong with you, do you just walk around and absentmindedly pick out fish? Oscars get to be more than a foot long, so won't even fit in your aquarium. And, the oscar will eat many of the other fish for dinner! You need at least a 100 gallons for the fish that will survive, the rest will be dinner!

Wow, you went hog wild with the fish didnt you? You should have actually done more research first. The oscar cannot live with anything else, or at least nothing smaller than it will grow to be (12inches) and an oscar will need a 55 gallon tank MINIMUM on its own. The parrot cichlids will also most likely have problems living with others.
I would suggest either getting 1 or 2 more tanks for the chiclids and oscar or taking them back to the store/ rehoming them. The oscars and cichlids are very small and cute when in the store, but they grow and they grow fast.

You are out of your mind! The Gouramis will each reach about a foot, the Bala Sharks will each reach a foot, the Oscar will eat all your fish and needs a minimum of 55 gallons, the Angelfish will get about 6 inches long and even taller, its fins migt scrape against the gravel eventually. Get rid of the Parrot Cichlids because they will get too aggressive for any fish you wold keep otherwise. Keep your Tetras, maybe buy one Dwarf Gourami and a pair of Yo-yo and Kuhli Loaches (2 of each). They are very active and playful. Next time, you really need to do some research or you are going to kill a whole lot of fish! The store you bought them from will take them all back for equal store credit. You really need to take everything back except for the Neons!

Forget about the Neons. They need a school of at least 6, and at least a 20 gallon tank. They are small, but swim very, very fast. They need room to do so. Also, that would really be bordering on overcrowding the tank. I would add the shrimp, then wait a week or so, to allow the tank to adapt to the increased bio-load, then add the Platies (you could get 3 if you wanted, just make sure they are all male), and wait again. Add the Betta last. Bettas can get territorial if fish are added to "their" tank. If they are added to an already populated tank, they are usually much more docile. Stocking a tank is an exercise in patience. It is hard to restrain yourself, but necessary. It will pay off when you have a fully stocked tank of happy, healthy co-inhabitants. Kudos for spending the time and effort to do your research! I wish all new hobbyists would learn from your example! Good luck!

That is way too much. Plus your fish aren't compatible. The oscars will eat everything else when they mature, and the angelfish/bala shark will eat the neon tetras. I would suggest to keep the neon tetras and get rid of everything else.
