China, the only thing holding them back is the whole communist thing, but they're a pretty important economic force. If not them, then Japan. This is all speculation that probably isn't based on any fact.

The US and Europe will continue to be great. So will the free countries in Asia. China is a broken machine and will remain so as long as corruption and human rights abuses are the laws of the land. The Arab and Persian areas will remain in the stone ages as long as they choose to be theocratic. Africa will for the most part continue to be an amalgamation of welfare states.

If the united states of africa were to form, it will be the most powerful in the future. There are many theists left in africa and the faith in God will make them a superpower just like it did Europe in the medieval ages.
