I really love reading and I'd like to at at least read 10-15 books this summer. Any suggestions? and I'd prefer French books because I speak French better.

I'd like historic, detective, documentary, weird, for teens and etc.

Thanks!!

Try reading "Seeking Whom He May Devour", by Fred Vargas. Vargas is a French author who writes detective stories. Even though I read it in English print, I am sure that you could find it in French as well.

The story is a murder/mystery set in France. Something is slaughtering sheep in the French countryside. The local farmers believe that the culprits are wolves that live in the area. But when one of the farmers is found dead with her throat slashed, the local townsfolk begin to think that it is the work of something far more dangerous, and sinister. Since they were young, they had all heard tales of a creature roaming their countryside. One that is half wolf, half man. Now they must find it before it kills again.

It has an interesting ending...lol.

I'd highly recommend Luthiel's Song by Robert Fanney. You also may want to check out Twilight by Stephanie Meyer.

Both are excellent!

Read the "Bee Keepers Apprentice" by Laurie King. It is the first of a series about a young girl and Sherlock Holmes.

You may be able to get it in translation.
