How do you go about buying a copy right?

I wanted to purches the right to allow sertain tv shows on my website. Without the penalties or fines is there a way to buy the rights to the tv shows. P.s don't repost this question i came up with it and im holding onto it till long after you all die of old age lol.

You don't buy the copyright, but you license the playback rights.
Contact the Legal/Licensing department of the TV studios you are interested.

Be prepared to answer these questions:
a) How do you plan protecting their material from unauthorized copying
b) What is for them?
