Those words are usually used without much meaning. In english they seem very easy to say without a thought. I would prefer for someone to write their true feelings on paper. I think it takes much more effort and dedication to put it on paper (especially in a poem). Just saying it- feels good but it would feel better if placed with more effort. I'm very romantic but simple. Now a days, it's all email and expensive gifts. I feel more loved and feel it much more from the heart if I received a letter in the mail (you can live 2 blocks away and still send me mail) unexpectedly with something like "hey I was just thinking of you and I really hope you have an awesome". Or a simple rose bud found on the door mat as I leave for work.... So not just said, but I do wish it was demostrated more often.

I get told many times a day (this is one of the joys of parenthood)....

but anyway.....

Thanks Sandstorm.

I love you too, in a totally platonic manner.

I really get a kick out of most of your questions, well more the responses you receive....
