Nothing wrong with them, isn't it? I have my cup of tea, you have yours.

wow. you can do better than that.
puppy love - sappy
it's all coming back to me - en epic that's a chore to listen to (good content, but it's a concert in a song)
my heart will go on - ugh (too much celine dion)

i do like the WHAM song

the others i'm not familiar with, but i will look for the annie lennox one. she is a very good singer and does not rely on pop material (walking on broken glass, don't let it bring you down)

i think my problem with this list is my taste is melancholic, so i like songs like:

two out of three aint bad - meat loaf
your song - elton john
walk away - dokken
she's gone - hall and oates
girl i'm gonna miss you - milli vanilli (yikes)
it'll be ok - limp bizkit (cover your ears for this one)
maggie may - rod stewart
thank you - led zeppelin
in too deep - genesis

oops, gotta get back to work

oh yeah, just about any journey song, too

Incredibly horrible.

Edit: I'm just going to name 10 great songs off the top of my head, that I would like you to say honestly are inferior to your ten:

Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin
Layla - Derek and the Dominoes
Sunshine of your Love - Cream
Day in the Life - Beatles
Satisfaction - Rolling Stones
Baba O'Reilly - The Who
Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
Born to Run - Bruce Springsteen
Light My Fire - The Doors
Hotel California - The Eagles

I could name a thousand more, but let's start with those ten.

Too much 'pop' music. Explore independent artists more, there are many very talented unrecognized artists out there that don't get the credit they deserve. Based on your list I recommend Hawksley Workman, he's a wonderful Canadian artist (I couldn't help notice Celine made your list twice, figured you had a thing for Canadians).

eh they're okay, but they are YOUR top ten, not anyone else's, so don't feel as though you need other's opinions to validate your taste in music.
