I believe that I am rather unique on this site, as I just love Arnold Schwarzenegger movies.
All the way from his original Conan movies (and didn't you just LOVE that heavy accent you could barely understand), through Commando, and Predator, Twins and his classic Terminator movies.
And believe it or not, but it is neither his looks (which let's face it are not very handsome) or his body (I prefer my men softer--MUCH softer!) but just that type of movie that is a classic B movie all the way, but strives to be the EPITOME of a B movie.
Go Arnie!!
A couple of non-Arnie movies that would qualify for this same genre (of really good B movies) is Starship Troopers and Independance Day. Cheesy. Gorey. Chest-thumping patriotism the whole way. Cool.

1958 "The Inn of the Sixth Happiness" Gladys Aylward was the character she played.
My oldie fav was Casablanca and anything with Bogart.
My newer fav is Shawshank Redemption

My all time fav is The Ghost and Mrs. Muir with Rex Harrison and Gene Tierney. To be a bit more modern- I loved the first Harry Potter, Hunt for Red October, and Medicine Man.

My favourite oldies are Miracle on 34th Street.( Richard Attenbourgh I think?)
It's a Wonderful Life( well anything with James Stewart really)
Hobsons Choice ( John Mills)
There must be more but it is 3am so bit tired for thinking!
Not to keen on modern films, all seem to be about sex or violence, time they made some more films with a real story x

I enjoy all good films irrespective of their vintage - whether it is Citizen Kane or Gone With the Wind or Sound of Music or Life is Beautiful. That's why it is difficult to choose a favorite.
