There is a great book called "Take Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. I read it when my DH and I started trying to conceive #3 (the first two just happened) and I found it incredibly informative. Webmd.com and babycenter.com both have ovulation calculators and there is also a free fertility charting site www.fertilityfriend.com that is great. Fertility friend.com also gives free lessons via email on how to chart your fertility. Hope these help:)

The best time to have sex is during ovulation and that happens after your period. Within 14 days you should be ovulating and if you have sex, you will get pregnant. I speak from experience, I have 4 children and a 5th on the way. Good Luck!!!

Wome typically ovulate about 14 days before their next period is due. If you have regular cycle then you can figure out the day you ovulate, and start having sex 5 days before that up until the day afterwards. If you have an irregu;ar period then you can use ovulation predictor strips, or just have sex everyother day after your peiod ends until your next period. Good luck.

The best way is to take your temperature every day around that time. If you are having trouble, the math just isn't good enough. Too much variation.
