Today I made music while cleaning the toilet bowl. The clanging of the chrome handle of the brush against the porcelain bowl, the swish of the brush fibers in the chemically-blue water...this was a definitive moment. I can hear music in common and ordinary sounds. I can compose while doing mundane and tedious things. As long as the sense of music remains I will never get bored. (I am not psychotic or high by the way). Peace.

I was very fortunate in my life that I didn't experience the death of a loved one until I was twenty years old. The day my great-grandmother died, it changed so much about me, especially in the way I appreciate the family I still have.

The day I said I do to my husband full of hopes and dreams and only to find 9 years later, that my dreams of happiness with him have been shattered. Thankfully I have 3 beautiful children! :)
