Hopefully one day I'll invest in something, but I'm not sure if commercial property is a good idea? Any ideas?

real estate rarely depreciates in value, it can appreciate nicely throwing off capital gains when you sell the property or generate a steady stream of cash flow if you hold the property for income generation.

be warned though, owning propery comes with obligations.

Properties usually rise in value and investors often benefit from commercial properties.

If you can get a good business in your building it will pay for itself and you will have a crunch of change when the lease runs out, if you decide to sell the property
