The Infiniti G35 hands down!!!!

Both are really nice cars and you will see plenty of them on the road, so nothing exclusive about either really. If you are talking new, obviously the Infiniti will cost you at least $5K more, but it has more to offer. If you can't afford a new one, then a 1-2 yr old G35 can be found for less then a new Accord EX V6 coupe and a used one is your best value since the G37 will be out in just months. Though maybe because of the new G37 you can find a really great deal on the old G35 model.

Although Infinity is just the Luxury division of Nissan, the G35 is still in a higher class than the Accord. The Accord was made to compete against, the V6 Mitsubishi Eclipse and the V6 Nissan Altima Coupe. The Infinity G35 is competing against BMW. The choice is too easy, Infinity G35. RWD, Infinity, and the VQ35 engine has won awards 14 years in a row.

I didnt do alot of research to answer this question, but I think infiniti is the luxury branch of nissan, while acura is that of honda. So its really more fair to compare the infiniti to an acura than it is to cross car classes. That being said, I would go with the infiniti with the choices you gave as far as which I like better, although the accord will probably cost ALOT less (starts out 10k cheaper when new)

edit:

did some research, and the Acura TL is remarkable similar to the G35 albeit slightly more luxury and less sporting. It is fwd (so is the honda v6 Lx) and has only 258hp to the g35s 280.

The g35 is a dressed up 350z while the TL is a dessed up accord.

my source is a comparison of the 3 cars:

The G35 Wins! (By the way I like your name)

(actually people just like the performance and the look of the G35. Considering the sedan, and accord sedan would be better than a G35 sedan. in consumer terms)

They are two completely different cars. One is RWD and the other FWD also, one is luxury and the other is not.

You will need to compare entry luxury sports cars to each other. BMW 3 series, Audi A4, Lexus IS and Acura TL.

Otherwise, Accord to Camry, Altima, Mazda 6 and then the american brands.

When you add up the options to the Accord it will be close to the G35.

IMO, they are both really good value and reliable cars.
