the movie was titled "Song of the South".
You don't see it any more because the characterizations are racist by today's standard. I remember very little about the movie except the cartoon blue birds flying around live people, and some litle kid having a run-in with a bull.

It was called Songs of the South. It's based on the stories of Uncle Remus. It's nearly impossible to find a copy of it that will play in the USA. I've been looking for years.

Uncle Remus in.....Song of the South. I remember going to the theater when it first came out. It was a wonderful movie & the animation was awesome. :)
