I don't know, guys. I'm all for being professional and all, but if these people have been ugly to me, and I'm leaving soon, these coworkers would start having some little problems here and there, unconnected to you, of course.

My nephew is a master booby trap setter. Open this door and a spider lands on your head. You could do some great stuff with lunches. My grandpa switched boiled eggs for fresh. Or maybe a file becomes misplaced. Or maybe a computer glitch develops, or a clock is set backward. I'd open someone's nail polish in their drawer and, of course, it would spill.

One would never know what a Christian, law-abiding person I am, but I don't enjoy working with nasty co-workers. In fact, I won't tolerate it. You're doing the right thing by looking for a new job. I would be, too.

Look quietly, tell them nothing and STOP speaking to them. Just get through your time until you have another job; eating alone with a book and your lunch is better than being harassed and picked at for your choice to leave or to have arguments or saboteurs around you if they think "he's disloyal to the company".

Best wishes & hope you find a really good job!

Treat them with respect and dignity, and keep as far away from them as you can without compromising your job or your integrity. You don't have to like them or be fake -- just be polite and professional. Don't be tempted to sink to their level. You won't accomplish anything with them, and you'll feel that you have compromised your integrity for nothing.

Try to ignore them or interact with them as little as possible. Use headphones if possible in your line of work.
