Depends on their track record. I am a Conservative Democrat and have issue with Hillary and her honesty. I remember her "non-Answers" under oath when talking about Rose Law Firm.

Most politicians talk a tight group, (military term), but seldom follow thru with what they say. Only ones that try are the liberals who promise welfare and would like nothing better than to make America a socialist country.

Look at the politicians track record and see whether they are honest or not.

No, I don't believe everything they said anymore than I do my teenager. I have to have substantial evidence that there is something behind the words. What was that saying... oh yea, actions speak louder than words.

Thanks for the song. It has been awhile, nothing wrong with some fun.

THANK YOU for the music....I've missed it!

And to answer your question....NO...I don't believe a SINGLE word they say....it's all for us....to say what we want to hear...just to get elected... and then to put in place their own agenda....there is no more government by the people, for the people. And it's been that way for a VERY long time....longer than I can remember!

From the disgusting performance of Congress, Senate and the President (lately), I believe Government is completely out of touch with the Amecican Public. I have never seen our elected officials acting with such arrogance and with such condisending attitutes. Government is no longer of the People, For the People, and By the People...............it is broken.........

A few from the past:

Are you leaving us, Earnest?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SONGS MEANT TO SING THE PRAISES OF POLITICIANS
MARTIN VAN BUREN: (to the tune of "Rock-a-bye Baby")
Rock-a-bye baby, when you awake

You will discover Tip is a fake

Far from the battle, war cry and drum

He sits in his cabin a'drinking bad rum.

JAMES GARFIELD: (to the tune of "When Johnny Comes Marching Home")

Old what's his name, they'll proudly praise, aha! aha!

And Lincoln's tomb will be disgraced, aha! aha!

And the nation's flags will lose its stars

The stripes, they'll change to rebel bars

And we'll all wear gray if the Johnnies get into power."

WILLIAM HOWARD TAFT:
So all join in, we're sure to win, get on a raft with Taft!

Of Bryan's bluffs we've had enough

He'll talk you deaf and blind

The million trusts he's gonna bust are only in his mind!

RICHARD NIXON: (to the tune of "Buckle Down, Winsocki")

He has friends everywhere, over here, over there,

What a president he'll be make for you and me.

Buckle down with Nixon, buckle down!

If we don't give it, take it on the chin

We can win with Nixon if we only buckle down!

LYNDON JOHNSON: (to the tune of "Hello, Dolly")

We hear the band playing

And the folks saying let's all rally round the one who knows the score. So be our guide, Lyndon, Ladybird at your side, Lyndon, Promise you'll stay with us in '64.
