A complete physical would normally measure your height, weight and other vital signs like pulse, respirations, blood pressure, etc. It would include an exam of your eyes, ears, nose and throat. It would mean the doctor would feel your abdomen to make sure that you had no liver enlargment, listen to your bowel sounds, check your reflexes and examine your spinal curvature, listen to your breath sounds and heart sounds.
It may or may not include an exam of your external genitalia and a rectal exam. It may or may not include a breast exam (for women) and a testicular exam (for men)
Usual blood work would check your hemoglobin levels, white blood cell count, platelet counts and cholesterol levels and blood glucose levels (sometimes a fasting level of the latter). It may or may not include a liver function test. Usual chemistry blood test would check your creatinine (for kidney function) and BUN (likewise). A drug screen may also be performed if it's a requirement for employment.
Depending on your age, you may also get a ECG done to check your cardiac rhythm. A chest x-ray is sometimes taken if you are foreign born or at risk for tuberculosis.
What a complete physicial is trying to establish is your baseline state of health so that there is something to compare to when something goes wrong. A doctor takes your complete history, from childhood, and makes sure all your immunizations are current (like for tetanus, measles, mumps, rubella, diptheria, etc.)

They check your eyes, mouth ears take blood and urine test. Mainly to check your blood sugars your closterol, electerlites. Some doctors do EKG's have you go and have chest x-rays, if your a woman around 40 years of age you have a mammagram done, to check for any adnormal masses (breast cancer)if your around the age of 50 you have a colonscope done, I hear that's no fun, that a long tube with a light attached to it that goes up your butt to your colon to check for colon cancer. If your a man they check your penis and testitals for any adnormals, if your going to have an exam be perpared to be in the doctors office for at least an hour or more. They check everything, for a woman you have a pap smear done, that's a little uncomfortable but not as bad as the colon scope. They ask you questions about your family history and if you have any problems you want to talk about or that is bothering you. Whatever you tell a doctor nobody else knows your rights are protected. If your not honest with the doctor no matter what it may be then he can't help you. Good Luck it's really not all that bad just more of a pain the ***.

There are a billion 'tests' to be done, but do you mean tested for STDs?
A full medical exam is when the doctor looks at you from head to toe, looks in your eyes, listens to your lungs, your heart, inspects every area of your body.
Being tested for std's, for a boy, is a quick tiny q tip inserted into the meatus of your penis. painless, fast , thats all... if thats what you meant

Here's a sample form for a physical.
What it comes down to is,what are you willing to pay???
Someare next to useles and and do little more than prove you're alive,.and there are executive physicals available, which take most of the day and can cost more than $ 3000.00 ( yes 3 thousand)
Most start with checking the ears and eyes, and end up with the doctor putting on a rubber glove.
Interesting question.Try googling,"pysical examinations,:""
