I would really so have to agree on Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday, because I drool when I see him in that movie. OMG, that brings back the memories.

Tim Robbins in The Shawshank Redemption, wonderful performance, great surprise ending.

Your also right for Mel Gibson, in Braveheart.

Joaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash in Walk the Line, and also in Ladder 49.

Gary Oldman Bram Stokers Dracula

Last but not least, The beautiful team Edward Norton & Brad Pitt, took Chuck Palahniuk's masterpiece and turned it into a brilliant and classic film that I will love forever.

There are so many, and the ones listed are all great. I would have to go along with Dustin Hoffman in Rainman, Leonardo DiCaprio in What's Eating Gilbert Grape and The Aviator, Sean Penn in I Am Sam, Juliet Lewis in The Other Sister along with Giovanni Ribisi, Robin Williams in Patch Adams, Robert DeNiro in Awakenings, Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs, Shirley Maclaine in Terms of Endearment, any of the cast in Shawshank Redemption, the cast of the Green Mile, Gena Rowlands and James Garner in the Notebook, Edward Norton in Primal Fear, Christian Bale in Empire of the Sun, and Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow.

I loved Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday, also! I think Al Pacino is fantastic, especially in the Godfather 1. I think Michael Caine is very versatile. He was great in the original "What's it all about, Alfie".I like quite a few of Robert Duval's stuff-not all, but he was great in the movie with Robert Deniro as a priest and he was his cop-brother. Don't remember the name. Meryl Streep was heartbreaking in "Sophie's Choice and Out of Africa. Well, I could go on and on.......
