There is a big difference, I see so many Republican sheep out there that think "Nation Building", "Domestic Spying", U.N. Treaties and The National I.D. card are conservative thoughts and are not the start of a Tyrannical Totalitarian Regime I am wondering do they know that these are not have never been conservative stances on these issues? i.e. Hillary Clinton wanted a national id card in the form of her socialist dream of a health care system and the Republicans were screaming from the rooftops(rightfully so) that it was a invasion of civil liberties, now Bush takes that idea and make it bigger and legislates it (The REAL ID ACT H.R. 418) and is turning the country into a police state and that is OK because he is a Republican. Is Ron Paul right have "conservatives" lost their way? or do people not know what conservatism is, that neo-conservatives like Bush are not conservatives?

I am vehemently apposed to the Patriot Act and will fight against a national ID. They will have to force me to get one. Yes, I'm a true conservative who voted for Reagan, twice.

I too am not very happy with the way things are and have been going and get more frustrated as every day goes by, as I realize just how many freedoms are being robbed from us. I wish that my fellow conservatives could see these things as well.

I won't vote for anyone who voted for the Patriot Act. I also feel that the major push for immigration and getting this bill through is merely a way to initiate the national ID program faster, which will place us all under even more government control.

It's a real shame that so many people who have shown up here on this site rallying for Ron Paul are 'strange' and so often leave bad tastes in the mouths of most of us. That certainly gives Dr. Paul a black eye. As a result, most of us don't take him seriously. Also, because he doesn't have hard core backing, he won't win. I'll get thumbs down for saying this, but facts are facts.

I will not waste my vote and will elect to vote for the better of the two evils, with the hopes that we replace every representative in Congress and initiate term limits. That's possibly the only chance this country has of surviving.

What's the difference between a Howard Dean shill in 2003 and a Ron Paul sockpuppet in 2007?

Dean still looked like he had a shot.

Neoconservative seem to make up about 30% of the American electorate which would make them represent well more than 50% of the Republican party......You can only blame your GOP leaders as they pandered to these fascists for the votes: Talk about the enemy within!

I didn't vote for Bush, but I would definitely vote for Ron Paul. Actually he is the only Republican running I would vote for.

I do. I'm a conservative and I don't like Bush one bit. In one and a half terms, he's done one truly conservative thing - lower taxes (for all of us, not just the rich).

And, by the way, when war is inevitable, true conservatives actually know how to fight them.

Ru Paul could faux to be a woman, yet he's up front in letting you already know that he extremely is a guy. Ron Paul pretends to be a Republican, yet won't admit that he particularly isn't a Republican. case in point: a real Republican might stand with the help of whoever the Republican nomiminee is. Ron Paul needless to say reported he does no longer help the Republican candidate. you won't be able to have it the two techniques Ron Paul!

President Reagan would never have blamed his own nation for 9/11, would appreciate if you didn't lump them in the same bag, Ron Paul is no Ronald Reagan!

There are a lot of different opinions, not just two. None of us think exactly alike.
