My school does not spank children (nor do any public schools, I've heard), but has anyone who has gone to a private school or maybe any older people, has anyone been paddled at school? I've been paddled by my mom, but what's it like getting paddled by someone else, embarrassing I bet. Does it hurt more or less than when your parents spank you? I was just wondering.

Yes, I went to a public school & was spanked by the principal. He had this paddle in his office labeled, "the board of education." We had the option of X number of licks on the butt by the board of education, or having him tell our parents what we'd done at school. We all chose to go before the "Board of Education" rather than have our parents find out we'd gotten in trouble in school. It stung like hell when he swung that paddle & most of us teenaged boys had tears in our eyes when he finished... however we knew our parents would have given us worse & most likely with a belt that'd leave whelts & bruises. In grade school the teacher would grab your hand & paddle it with a ruler... we didn't get the parent option there.

I'm 16 and going into my junior year in high school. My parents have given all of my schools written permittion to spank me if I ever acted up.
And sure enough... in the 5th grade I spit in this boys face for calling my sister stupid and I got spanked by my principal.
And it was really embarrassing, but it hurt a lottt more when my parents spanked me.

When I was in elementary school (public school in the early 80s) I used to get spanked by the principal occasionally. He had a wooden ping pong paddle with holes drilled in it. My God that hurt! I didn't grow up to be a mass murderer, and I stopped doing whatever it was that got me in trouble in the first place!!

I see I'm late answering. Very embarrassing and the pain depends on who does it. it always hurt pretty bad, the 3 times I was paddled at school.

I wasn't spanked but I was hit on the head with a ring once. I had a teacher that had a big ring on one of his fingers. If you were not paying attention he would rap you on the head with it.

I'm older. i got paddled when i was in thee 5th grade by the teacher for chewing gum. that's when they were still allowed to paddle you. then i was made to place the gum on my nose and stand in the front of the class for the rest of the period. pretty embarrassing. when i got home and told my mom,i got it again. i learned to not chew gum in class again. taught me a valuable lesson.

I spanked a girl at school...we ditched class to uh..."study" down at the foot ball feild...does that count?

never did get it at school, got it because something I did at school that parents didn't like.
