Yeah, right. Unless your ancestors were native Americans, they were immigrants.
And neocons saying they are "patriots" because they oppose immigration reform is a laugh. They had 12 years to fix the system--and did nothing. They've had 5 years since 9/11 to fix the bordder problem that is a threat to our national security--and done nothing. Now, when some wants to address the problem of 12 million illegals tht the neocons created--they still want to do nothing.
Its only by the grace of God that the neocons' irresponsibility hasn't resulted in a hundred terrorists crossing the border. Patriotic? Their actions speak far louder--and their actions prove them to be UNpatriotic in the extreme.

Who would you give it to ? I've become gun shy, look at the people we trusted and elected believing that they would do what was right for us and look where we are now. I don't just mean George Bush the problems that we face to-day started a long time before he came into the picture and this isn't a bash Clinton statement because it goes back before he was elected. A lot of these problems started out as something small and the people we trusted ignored what was happening either because they didn't care or they sew a way to use it to their advantage. You find that person that we can trust and I'll be the first to vote for him or her.
