I suppose you could say that Saturday Night Fever is John Travolta, and vice versa. You couldn't have anyone else playing Tony Manero and have the same impact that the film has. This film, which on the surface doesn't seem to have much in the way of a plot, is a dazzling piece of cinema, made so by Travolta and the legend he created. But it's also a very sad story, one of a young man and his confusion and frustration about living a life he's not happy with. Dancing at the local discotheque is all that Tony has to make himself feel special and wanted, as he doesn't get it from his family. The arrival of Stephanie, an older woman who is just as good a dancer as he is, lights a fire inside Tony and he sees his life as having a purpose. But things don't turn out as he had envisioned. Saturday Night Fever is a phenomenal film, with so many different aspects that make it so. Of course, there is Travolta, sizzling across the screen as the main attraction. But there's also some nice supporting turns from Karen Lynn Gorney as Stephanie, Barry Miller as Bobby C. and Donna Pescow as Annette. They all bring their characters to life, and they make you want to know what happens to them as well, not just Tony. But, in the end, Saturday Night Fever is John Travolta, and vice versa, and sitting there, mesmerised at the screen, watching Travolta shimmy across that dancefloor to that funky disco music, makes you realise that this film is like no other. It is, quite simply, amazing.

Yeah, I enjoyed it. It develop right into a distinctive action picture. the guy(John T.) develop into this kindof stud who walked into the disco and became all human beings's heads. Then they prepare him sitting on the table ingesting dinner along with his kin and virtually being a whiny little new child whilst his mom messes up his hair (stated "haiyah") The Bee-Gees did alot for disco. i develop into basically a new child whilst the action picture got here out, even nevertheless it develop into cool, even nevertheless I under no circumstances ought to work out myself dressing like that.

The movie that made John Travolta's career, good movie, not my fav, but we all have our preferences. With the greatest hits of it's time, signature leisure suits, and the hair, "Don't touch the hair"! LOL
He was hot in that movie, but he was in Grease too!
PEACE
