The UN is not worthless.

They are a potential source of tremendous amusement, if only we could load the ambassadors onto large catapults and fling them into the oceans, or against walls.

whoa, pal. The UN is a great idea for nations to come together and discuss the world issues. The US is the World Police and the War in Iraq is an important war for fighting against terrorism, setting up democracy, etc. Even though we have been there a bit too long, I still think we should finish out the job.

Eto, we are there to protect the country of Israel and the huge profits from the oil industry.

What happened to the Billions of dollars of oil revenue? well ask the boys on the Hill..Washington DC..it is all smoke and mirrors..The United States will be in Iraq for a long time..no matter who is President or what party is in office..we are committed forever

The UN has been useless for years. I could not agree more. If it was actually working we would of never gone to Iraq in the first place!

The UN is not worthless. It's not worth what it costs, nor the debacles it's been responsible for, but it does some worthwhile things.

No, I can't think of any at the moment...

You are blaming Iraq on the UN? No. Bush lied to the UN, he said he would go back for approval before starting any attack, but he knew that they already knew there were no WMD's so he attacked anyway. Its not the UN's fault, its the stupid American public's fault for ever entrusting the Presidenty to bush.
