Bush wanted amnesty from the get go. The Democrats we have elected are on his team. It is a smoke screen, all the time, when they oppose each other. Is this clear enough for you?

Two reasons:
1) He can't veto a bill that hasn't been passed yet.
2) He's not really against Amnesty.

if bush wanted to secure the south border and stem the flow of illegals he would have done it long ago. its obvious he does not want too. face facts.
the worlds mightiest military , most powerful country can't secure its south border, i find that really suspect. 3rd world countries do a better job of border security then America does.

He isn't against Amnesty, he is all for it!
Amnesty, outsourcing, anything that will destroy unions, and bring the American worker closer to working for minimum wage.
Don't you think it is odd that he keep bashing syria and iran for not securing their borders to prevent flow of fighters to Iraq, but he can't secure our border to prevent people who don't have weapons from crossing??
