-ok go near a router and watch the wireless lights on it ok
-ok now deposit a pokemon to dupe on GTS and make a bogus deal IE lvl 100 abra
-then wait till you see the lights flash on the router a second time and turn off and turn on then it is duped
this takes very good timing to do

upload them to the gts system and make an impossible demand.
Wait when 8 revolutions of the clock pass by, turn off the game.
You will have two exact pokemons.
Never tried though.

You can't clone on Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, unless you breed to get an egg which will hatch into a level 1 pokemon. Or there are cheating devices you can buy if you can't handle playing fair.
