don't follow trends with jeans. sorry, had to say it. you may need to try a bazillion pairs on though. Oprah had a show on about denim jeans last year, and you must try them on. Not all jeans are for every body. Yes th skinny jeans are in, but generally don't look good on all of us. Sad but true. The most overall flattering jeans on like 90% of woman are straight leg, dark rinse jeans.
if you still want to wear your jeans try either lower rise underwear, not necessarily a thong, longer shirts.
Some interesting articles attached for you.
My personal favorite jean style is the trouser jean. Very structured like a pant and a bit more dressy so I can dress up or down.

you mave have just bought a bad pair of jeans. I am nineteen and have the same problem I adventually just stop wearing the jeans except with long shirts. I always test my pants when I am trying them on. Sit on the floor if you have to in the dressing room or just squat down a little. Try a size smaller. (I am only a size three so it has nothing to do with being small or big because I work at a retail store and see big womens plumbers crack all the time) I believe there are some pants that just dont fit properly and some places dont know how to make um to fit right like holister. They all gotta show there thongs off I guess. Little do they no its not cute at all.

My mom has done the same thing. I'm only 14, but I can let you know now... There are other cute and "in-style" jeans that are appealing to women your age. The best type of jean would Hudson Jeans. My rule of thumb is that if you get more than 5 bad comments on your clothing, it's best to just give them up. Find a pant that flatters you and not your underwear: they're meant to be in the jeans.

The obvious answer, regardless of how unpleasant it might seem or feel to you, is no panties.
This assumes you haven't tried thongs yourself yet.
Most girls I've known who tried tight jeans with no panties found it harsh on tender parts. One told me she tried panty liners in between the jeans and the tender places but they shifted.
So I say, try thongs, the prettier the better and get tougher about the "EWWWW..." commentaries. Or try tops that will stay where you shrug them up to on your belly but are long enough to tug down as you sit. Practice surreptitiously handling the tug down as you sit and the push back up as you rise.
And remember, anyone saying "mom" wouldn't address the subject if you looked silly or gross. She would only address the subject if you looked sexy that way. Not that she would realize that, but that's the trigger, not you looking silly. So take those "EWWWW...'s" as compliments!

LOL, kids will say everything embarrasses them---if I were you, I wouldn't worry about it. If you like the jeans, wear them.
And if you do feel uncomfortable, then don't wear them just to be fashionable; pick a different style. I am a 28 year old mom, and I have worn nothing but bohemian hippie skirts since I was about fourteen. :)
Wear what YOU feel comfy in.

The good news is, high-waist jeans are back. No, not "Saturday Night Fever" pants, but moderately high waisted jeans that can make everyone feel better about themselves. If you are looking to invest in a good, designer pair of jeans, I would suggest the HighRise by 7 for all Mankind. They are famous for making extremely well-tailored pants.:

You may also want to check out the See by Chloe jeans, all of them are higher waisted this season.

If designer isn't your budget, Levi's makes great jeans that have a lower waist in the front, but about a 2" higher rise in the back...great if you still want to look "hip" without being all grandma-like.

ok....low rise jeans = low rise panties....thats common sense, but in the event you already know that & its still a problem, try a brand that allows for a little junk in the trunk....
miss sixty, apple bottoms & lucky jeans are my faves.....
very fashionable & a great fit for someone who wants to look good & not have their a$$ hanging out all day long :)

I wear "in style" jeans, but I also wear thongs [but they don't show when I sit!]. If thongs aren't for you, then bikini-style or low cut panties work for me, too :D
