You might say I left home when I was 13...but it was to a private school so I don't know if that would count. I left home for the US Navy when I was 17. Although I have visited at home on many occasions I have never really lived at home since going into the Navy. That was nearly 52 years ago.

I was 16..came back for 6months when I was 17 haven't been back sice and don't plan to go.My sister left at 16,another sis at 15,my brother left at 13 came back at 17 left again the same year...the oldest to leave was my other brother at 22.

I went to college at 17. I've spent 3 nights at my parents in the last 30 years since.
