you can test your DSL speed through a lot of different sites. try http://atl.speakeasy.net and select the server (state or town) that's closest to you. or try this other site http://www.auditmypc.com/internet-speed-test.asp. both or any other sites would give you your download and upload speed ;)

I have a question for you. Do you want to know what your download/upload speed is or the speed at which you are connected? For example, your connection speed can be 700kps, but your download speed will only be about 200-400kps and your upload will be about 100-300kps. Its some thing that has to do with the providers equipment.

Your internet speed is the speed between your network access (usually the router WAN port) and the Internet. It is NOT the speed between your pc and your router. You will see speeds from as low as 256 kbps (down) to over 8,000 kbps (down). You will not see, in this day, a broadband for home use at 100 Mbps (the speed between the pc and the router in a wired configuration).
Others have indicated sites where you can measure your speed. These are the best ways to determine what your speed is.

well click start if you have windows xp, then click "connect to >" then click show all connections, and you might be able to find out there. If you are not connected, you are sitting at 0 mbps, the better the connection, the higher the mbps. I have AT&T it is 100mbps (which is sort of fast)
