I am looking for a book to give to my grandparents in order to get a written history of their lives. It's a book that has a lot of questions for them to answer, such as where they grew up, how they met, etc. I don't know what these type of books are even called, and I've looked at both Borders and B&N, and larger retailers such as Target and Walmart. I know these books exsist, but I don't even know what they are called or where I can find them!

Thank you to all who answered, but I am looking to find this book in a store, so that I may flip through and look at what type of questions they have. Also, what type of book is this called? A memory book? It's not a family tree!

Most large book stores have a genealogy section in their reference section, consists of books where people fill in the blanks and answer questions as well as how to books on finding your roots and creating a family tree

HP books publishes a book called "The Grandparent's Book." Google "HP Books Grandparents" and you should be able to find it. Amazon sells them.

I don't know what they are called but Borders has a Genealogy section. That is most likely where they would be found.
