You are wrong about many of the people to the left of you.
No one wants Iraq to be a mess.
No one wants the USA to lose.
The sad truth is that the decisions and policies implemented by our leadership have had more than a little to do with Iraq becomming a mess that is vunerable to becomming a terrorist nation or equally bad, a far right fundamentalist nation.

Saddam was a dictator who did not tolerate terrorists in his country, now it appears Iraq is a magnet for them since we invaded. Is that what you mean by worse than before?

MONEY , PROFITS & POWER are the reasons we are in Iraq in the first place. This administration could give a rats azz about what type of a nation Iraq is, as long as we control them and their resources.

Why would you believe something like that? Are you listening to conservative talk radio? That is notoriously unreliable and biased. And why would people on the left or anybody else for that matter want the terrorists to win? Thats ridiculous. WHY, give me one reason WHY anyone on the left would want that. yep,democrat/liberals have been trying to destroy the U.S. military since the Vietnam war,i often wonder why the liberal media or the republican party does not run ads showing how much democrats/liberals supported the troops during the Vietnam war by spitting on troops on leave or returning from the war,and how during the 1st gulf war they were saying the U.S. military was no match for the veteran iragi republican guard,and how they the U.S. troops would be slaughtered on the first encounter with the iraqi army!
