Methinks somebody is soliciting for the hinged form of handcuffs. whether you may "step by" with the known chain style (and the conventional public can not), the hinged style ought to make it an invaluable purchase harder. certainly, there's a flaw in the test. the right kit isn't in place! :-)

Most people can't due to the short space between them. It is tough to reach far enough to get past your feet if they are straight and reaching your foot up high enough in back to get it through then get your hands past your knee requires some flexibility.

Not many are flexible enough, or if they are, it takes time and space-doing such will attract the attention of the cop.
