Hey, i have been put in a situation to save someone's life but i don't know the right way to go about it! my best friend friend told me about this suicide pact he has got with a girl he met over the internet...the date is set for three months from now. he said he regrets telling me now because im scared and emotional and may want to help him which of course i do!!! but i don't know where to start. I will be absolutely crushed if he goes through with it...i mean he has already attempted three times but this girl on the internet helped him come up with a fail safe plan and this scares the s*** outa me. to all the people who want me to tell him to just get over it...that ain't the way to go about it!!! it never is so never say that to someone in this situation. I need to know who i can go to and what help i need for him. he doesn't know who his dad is and his mums boyfriend beat him and when he asked his mum to choose between him and the boyfriend she chose the boyfriend. HELP ME!!!

your friend needs help right now! call 911 right now before he does anything rash. people with family problems like that need a therapist to talk to. he needs help and if you don't get it for him, then noone will. this woman needs to be put in jail. think about it: he would have never told you unless he wanted you to stop him. he probably wants attention, because from his family problems i can tell he doesn't get too much of it. this is a cry for help, so dont ignore it. take action ASAP!

dont call the police or tell his parents that will only make it worse and he will feel betrayel from you!!! so dont this is really serious he told you because he trusts you there is still time and you can change his view on this if you try! you probably have but you have to go to the extreme first of i would find out who the girl from the internet was and talk to her ask her why did they make the pack or ask him!! this is really bad he cant take his life away he cant! because everyone will suffer his family! he may not realize but they do care about him i know that for a fact. find out why he is trying to do this!!! and stop him if he dies and your the only one that knows youll feel guilty just tell him give him support k my email pisces_yara14@yahoo.com dont be afraid to contact me cuz this is very serious if u wanna talk im 15 and maybe i can help you

Tell someone. You can save his life. He can change if he has the chance to live a better life. Its sad that people commit suicide because life is the most wonderful gift from god ever. And you only have one chance to live it. Give him a chance to be a better person. You have to tell someone you trust and get him some help! Good Luck!!

He is in a serious amount of pain- and he will go through with it because he feels worthless it seems. he told you because he is crying for help without stating it. if you dont help him and he does finally go through with it- you will blame yourself for life and it will scar you emotionally for life. because the mother chose the boyfriend- i believe his best bet is to leave the disfunctional household he is in. if he is under age- you should notify his counselor at school-then the principal if nothing is done look for a suicide prevention group in your area or if you go to church- confide in your pastor, priest , or church leader. when he gets the help he needs - he will thank you- if he doesnt- at least you can live knowing you did everything you could not just to help him- but to save yourself from the emotional scarring this situation could create for you. good luck!

Stop him at all cost!I know exectaly what you are going through.My boyfriend was being beat and was going to commit suiceid!Keep him ocupied and let him stay at your house.Remined him that he has you and comfort him.Make sure that he knows his life can change for the better.Keep with him.Once he is over it ask him if he wants a coucler to make sure he dosnt want to do that again.

You should go to the authorities about it, they can and will put you in touch with the right person that can and will help this guy before it's to late. He really needs help and he is crying out for it, to you. So help him. In the long run, U both will be glad.

Tell a competent authority figure of this "plot" and they will investigate and intervene if necessary. Do so immediately...(It could be BS but then again they could be serious. Better to err on the side of caution)

talk to a school psychologists, or a family member you trust just try to talk him out of it tell him the good things he has got goin for him, just do what you can try anything as long as it does not put you or him at risk , do whatever you can ,just stop him at all costs , good luck

SUICIDE HOTLINE!!!!! A INVOLUNTARY COMMITTMENT TO A MEDICAL FACILITY BECAUSE HE IS GOIN TO ATTEMPT TO HARM HIMSELF...YOU HAVE TO BE THE LOGICAL THINKER IN THIS TYPE OF SITUATION. GET HIS NEXT OF KIN TO HAVE HIM COMMITTED. Yeah he is goin to be pissed but you have to do what you have to do. He doesn't want to die or he wouldn't have told you when he was goin to do...AND 9 out of 10 times it is goin to be wayyyy before the three months he verbalized to you. you need to get help immediately!

definitely call the police. it may not feel like you should, but you have to to save his life.immediately talk to authorities and explain to them the situation. they will give him proper treatment and help. once you do this, theres really nothing else you can do to help.
