can they take his pay and set an amount? Do I have to go to court and set it? no guess's please thanks!!!

It requires a court order to take anyone's pay. You can indeed petition the court for a nominal fee to have child support ordered. PS- Texas is on your side, and does not take kindly to dead beat parents. Good Luck.

Nobody can help you unless there is a valid court order, and only a Judge can legally sign a child support order so youre going to have to appear in court to get one before anyone can help you

When I went through the system in Tx, I now live in Cali. You had to go to court first and set the amount. You can call any attorney and they can tell you if that has changed. Best of luck to you.
