Mustang about 13.8 seconds 1/4 mile with manual trans. 14.2 automatic. F-350 truck has a weight problem and geared for slower than 100 miles an hour. So with reasonable assurance you will out run the truck unless there is a hidden NO2 bottle gasoline V-10 will not keep up with a properly driven under 4,200 pound car with a 4.6 running properly. Don't give up at 60 feet when the low gear in the truck pulls you there then is when the 4.6 will come on.

What 12 months of Mustangs are you finding at? Given the extra modern-day Mach 1s and Cobras that got here out with the 4.6 liter V8, the supercharged Cobra develop into extra valuable (and quicker) than the needless to say aspirated Mach a million. Acceleration cases to 60 have been over an entire 2nd aside with the Cobra maximum appropriate the way at 4.5 seconds and the Mach at 5.6. the two automobiles had good promptly ability yet their weight constrained their cornering skill particularly with their classic rear axle/suspension setup.

Are you serious??? If you give the truck a1/4 mile start, it might win.... might..... the Mustang is geared for speed, and with the HP it has, NO truck has a chance against it.....

Get him to bet pink slips. You will beat him easily. His engine and gearing is designed for torque to pull or carry heavy loads, not for performance; plus his truck weighs two and a half tons.
