You can rent a limo for any reason at all - those in the adds are just suggestions.

In general, figure on about $125-150 per hour. Rates go up for larger vehicles with more passenger capacity, but "per person", the rate usually ends up less.

You will need to negotiate the wait. If you don't mind that they are a few minutes early or late, you may be able to get two calls - one for your trip out, and another for your trip back.

If you need them to hang around at a moments notice - yup - you will need to pay for the wait time - same as if it was moving.

And yes, most will permit some people to ride up front.

Oh, and don't forget a tip (for each driver if it ends up as two). Figure on 15-20%.

You can rent limos for any reason. If you rent a limo for an all day affair, you'll have to pay the hourly rate for the driver to "stand by" in the parking lot. If you know it will be along time, save money by hiring 2 limo companies. Have 1 pick everyone up & take you to your event. Then have the 2nd limo company take everyone home. You may have to pay a minimum number of hours for each company. Kill time by having the limo pick y'all up at home instead of 1 meeting place or eat breakfast out of the park (saves food cost in park too).
