So my dad has a PC, its from HP. what button do i need to press in the beggining to change the booting sequence?

Every computer has a different key which allows you to enter the BIOS, which then allows you to change the booting sequence. When you turn on your computer it should display something like "F2: System Setup".

f8
ESC
or
f2

depends on the model and the operating system

That should get you into the system bios.

Or you could read the manual that came with the computer and it will tell you.

I've owned three HP's ... all three used one of the keys above.

its F8. just press it many times until you get to the different boot up screen choices where it says safe mode and all that junk.
