Recently i had sex for the first time and did use protection. I was sore the first couple days, but now that a few more days have gone by the soreness has gone away but it does feel a bit itchy just in the vaginal opening. I looked at it today and noticed that it looks different now, not with bumps or anything STD ridden like that, but looks as though the opening was like torn open(for obvious reasons.) it just caught me off guard because this was my first time & im not used to seeing a change like this but im sure it should look a bit torn/different since this was the first time ive had sex, but does anyone have any in-put? Is this normal? Did the same thing happen to you? Please respond!

you are raw and itchy because your hymen was torn in penetration and the tissues are healing. Just keep yourself clean, it will pass.
Sometimes with the first time you can get a yeast infection, because you have introduced foreign bacteria, but with that the itch is intense and you have a cottage cheesy type of discharge, that is no big deal either, just get some cream from the pharmacy and clear it up. Good on you that you used protection.

If the penis caused some damage to your vaginal opening and it sounds like it did because you have been sore, then after a few days those open areas in the skin will start to itch. It is a normal healing process. It is similar to when you get a cut on your leg and it starts to scab and itch. It should go away in a couple of days.

If you continue to itch or you get discharge then you need to go see a gynocologist or call Planned Parenthood. You could have a yeast infection or some other type of infection.

Make sure the next time you have sex, that your partner is gentle. If you have pain during sex ask him to slow down and use plenty of lubrication. You should be tore up even if it was your first time (but many girls do experience this). Make sure you do plently of foreplay and you produce your own lubrication.

If you are torn it means you were not lubricated enough and other other problem if you are allergic to the condoms. It will take awhile but you see An Gyn to make sure nothing else is torn or damaged .Its normal to be sore.If you had enough lubrication then your tubes are not ready.By the sounds of it you are not ready until you find a few things out.

yes it's normal to be torn there, your partner's penis just broke your hymen, which is like a piece of skin that WILL break when you lose your virginity. Every hear of "your cherry being popped?" That's kinda what its correlated with.

But the fact that it's itchy is a little odd. If the itching persists, or gets worse, it may be a yeast infection, but you should go to a doctor or a planned parenthood.

Your probable getting a yeast infection because you are allergic to the condom that was used. Find out what kind of condom you used and don't use that type again (Latex or not - you may be allergic)

sounds like you were not ready and he rushed things....jerk was only thinking of himself, not you...he must have been young and doesn't know that if you aren't ready then its his fault and should help you, not take you...so you should not be experiencing what you are if it went according to gentle foreplay procedures...you should not be torn or sore or any of that...first time or not...it was tooooo rough for your first time...get rid of that clown...if he hasn't run off already...sorry-4-you!
