Looking at my parents who are in their early 80's and will be married for 63 years on the 2nd of July. And my aunts and uncles who have been married over 50 years and who are in their 70's I would have to say NO love is never not important. One of the most important things in life is knowing that you're loved by someone special and that you share an intimate connection with them. And I'm not only talking emotional. I think that even though health becomes more of an issues as you get older, I think that just because you're older you don't lose your need for love either emotional or physical.

Most older (seniors) understand the marriage commitment much more then the young today. No matter the age,if a man and women want to make a commitment to each other (not just a physical attraction),they should work to see if it might be love.

No, I don't think it's ever too late to find love. I think some elderly people have decided that they are set in their ways and many have given up on life. However, there are alot of vivacious, alive older people out there who would love to find companionship. It's never too late.
