I think Bob is brilliant. By putting rosie in his place the show is going to tank. It will be cancelled and everybody will always say.... Bob is the only one that could do it. He will be a legend. Thats the only reason I can think he would back her.

The only way people would accept a new host is if over the past few years there had been guest hosts from time to time and people were able to become accustomed to and even developed a liking for a certain one in particular.
They should retire the show the way they did Jeopardy years ago until the exact right person for the job is found. Then the show can be revived as a classic game show. I'm with everyone else though, not Rosie O'Donell. Tends to stir up too much controversy and the game itself and it's contestants should be the stars, not so much the host and her issues.

If Rosie takes over on TPIR, I will never watch the show again, plain & simple. I can only imagine what she'd say to the contestants, when trying to be funny or when she's being insulting. I'd like to see a man take over, someone like Tom Bergeron but I don't think he's in the running.

Rosie O Donnell...I don't think so. Bob Barker was a classy and funny guy. Rosie O Donnell is just way too obnoxious. Maybe David Hasselhoff is still looking for a job!

No, Rosie would be hated by too many people.
I truly believe that whomever CBS chooses will not succeed because Bob Barker is the TPIR icon.
I think that they should seriously think of doing a reality show with the contestants auditioning and being voted off until the correct one is chosen by the public. I think that is the only way that the public is going to accept the new host.

I was just about to pose this question myself. Thanks for doing it for me. The answer is definitely NO!!!!
Perhaps I didn't make myself crystal clear....NO...NO....NO!!!!
Not that I hold anything against her, I just can not cotton to the woman. It may be the way she lit into one of my favorite people, when she had that TV Show. Tom Selleck is a nice guy, a good guy that happens to shoot firearms. Nothing wrong with that right? Apparently, good ol' Rosie doesn't like guns and went up one side of him and down the other. Tried to tear him up. Tom, the good guy that he is, tried to do what any sane individual would do, speak about it rationally, Rosie would have none of it.
I don't care what her sexuality is, it doesn't and shouldn't matter but to her it does. She recently said something about the ladies she worked with on the View as Heteros, that's how she refered to them.
To be honest with you, the less I see of Rosie the better and there are far more intelligent and worthy people to take Bob's place. O'Hurley being my choice, a nice guy that treats people well. Let O'Donnell ride off into the sunset with whomever she wants just stay away from TV, mine in particular.

I think someone should lock her up in an Old Outhouse for a day....She might change her attitude a little. She wouldnt make a good host, because the Barker Beauties would be a total distraction to her.

I think Bob is irreplaceable. I think they should just stop the show but seeing how its still running on tv, i think Rosie should NOT host. She's too opinionated and already i heard she wants to change things on the show. I would like to see Mr. Pederson (Seinfeld) - the guy from the 1st season of Dancing with the Stars. He currently hosts Family Feud so i'm not sure if he has a long contract with them.

Bob is 400 years old and wants to golf in peace. He is good friends with Rosie. I like Rosie, she is fun and funny. But, she quits too many things too fast. I would rather see the show either completely retired, or have some one who will stick with something long termly and not give up after a year.
